Eavan's Fourth Birthday

My niece Eavan turned four at the end of August. And I just can't resist taking piñata pics...

I love seeing my brothers as dads. I love the women they married, and I love love love all four of their babies. Happy birthday sweet Eavan! It's so fun to watch you grow up and make friends.

A Bainbridge Birthday

Thirty years ago today, my wonderful friend, Rachel, was born. On Saturday morning a few of us hopped on a ferry to Bainbridge Island to celebrate the occasion. We ate breakfast, wandered around cute shops and the local farmer's market, and talked about how lucky we all are to know Rachel. Well, we may have skipped that last part, but I think it was implied. :)

Happy happy birthday Rach! I love you and am so blessed by your friendship. (P.S. I did the math, dissecting frogs in Mr. Mosseso's science class was 17 years ago!)
